Works like a charm. This fan operates very quietly and well. It looks wonderful against a concrete ceiling - blends right in! I love that it's as heavy and quality-made as it is, and I also love that the switch is wall-mounted. I did not buy the light kit, but integrated my pre-existing light fixture on the wall into the switch, and it turned out wonderful.

This fan is not cheap, but it does work well and feels/looks like it is high quality.
