This is a very cool modern looking fan, light is good but I would recommend additional lighting for a room. Having only two blades it can only push so much air on high, about the same as a 4-5 blade fan on medium but we got it for it's modern looks and the room is on the small size so we're ok with it. We wanted a fan close to the ceiling & not overbearing, slim & not bulky and this fan was perfect.... except the flush mount box has the wrong bolt pattern in it to mount to the top of the fan, being a general building contractor this was an easy fix, I took off the mounting "ring" on top of the motor & taped it to the flush canopy and on my work bench I quickly drilled new mounting holes off-set from the factory holes, it bolted up fine except it came with the wrong screws! The fan came with three screws for the mounting ring and I pirated three more screws from the extra hardware in the down-rod assembly to fully bolt it togeather (6 screws). I'm not pleased the flush canopy doesn't come in chrome like the motor but I think I can modify the chrome down-rod canopy to work instead of the flush canopy..... if I get around to it :) It comes with a wall switch- low-M-high & light but no dimming feature, the switch is not true white like the decora switches next to it, kind of a cool white but it's ok. Instructions are just ok but I've installed many fans so I personally didn't need them, a newbie could fumble through it and install. I do recommend this fan.

Love the fan! It has a great modern look and have received many compliments. My husband installed it, didn't seem to be too difficult. I wish the lighting was a bit stronger. Overall, great fan for the price & I would definitely buy it again.
