We've been shopping for a new dining room chandelier (in brass) for a while. This is a beautiful looking and good quality chandelier for the money. We've been to several local lighting stores and have never seen a brass chandelier under $500 that we considered suitable or looked as nice as this one. It has nice detailing w/o being overly ornate and the finish is good. A few of the arms were slightly bent and had to be adjusted, and the wire was not properly run thru the body of the chandelier - so we had to use a second wire to "fish" it through. It looks nice w/shades as well (which we added). We highly recommend this product.

My experience is that things often don't look as good "in person" as on the net. This item is an exception. It looks even better!
